Kameel Jackson is back!
Or maybe this: Kameel Jackson never left!
Or how about: What’s going on with Kameel Jackson this week?
Oklahoma’s young wide receiver has had a tough spring, and it has only gotten weirder as the summer approaches.
First, Jackson didn’t play in the Red/White scrimmage. Then, he “tweetfered” to Texas A&M — tweeted that he would transfer out of OU and become an Aggie. Then, A&M said they had no plans to welcome Jackson. Then, Jackson was among four Sooners suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules.
Now, before the sun rises on what’s sure to be a glorious Thursday in the Sooner State, Jackson has tweeted up his latest plans to his 3,194 followers.
“Decided to stay at OU,” Jackson posted at 1:38 a.m., “& w/ that being said, its time to silence all rumors.
“My suspensions came from my failure to meet my class attendance policy. Nothing more; nothing less.”
Jackson made an impact as a true freshman last season, catching 12 passes for 165 yards in 11 games.
Now, after a change of heart, he’ll apparently get to continue his college football career in Norman — after his suspension, that is.
