Sportswriters Gone Wild? Not at my age

It's true, I haven't blogged in a while (seems the Sooners, the AP football poll and two kids playing soccer are keeping me pretty busy), but I couldn't let this one go by without telling the world.
As I pulled into the Norman Fairfield Inn this evening following post-practice interviews, I thought I had somehow fallen into a late-night television – I can't even think of the proper term for it – extended commercial.
There, in the parking lot of my hotel, was the legendary "Girls Gone Wild" tour bus.
For the record, I made a couple of phone calls, let my mind wander for a minute or two, then went straight up to my room to work on Tuesday's piece about the Sooners in the Top 25.
If you don't know what "Girls Gone Wild" is, then you're a better man (or woman) than me. If you are all too aware of the late-night spot that hawks videos of drunken debauchery and naked depravity, then use your imagination.
I'll leave it at that.
