Stage is set for Stoops' WWE debut
Published: 5/12/2010 8:10 AM

So Jack Swagger, world heavyweight champion of the WWE, comes into the ring for a Smackdown bit in Buffalo. He wants to show off his past to his fans, and he brings along a picture of him in an Oklahoma Sooners uniform with Bob Stoops.

(Remember, Jack Swagger used to be Jake Hager, who used to be a reserve defensive lineman at OU in the early 2000s.)

The mayhem that ensues, according to Wrestling News World:

"Big Show finally came out to interrupt the segment. He tore up the set, destroying Swagger's trophies and accomplishments."

My idea: Put Stoops in Swagger's corner the next time he faces the Show in the ring. Then, just as the Show is about to unleash the Chokeslam to end the match, have Stoops fly in off the top rope to break up the hold. Now Show is distracted and Swagger can sneak in with a Gutwrench Powerbomb to steal victory.

This would be great for Stoops' image eh? Maybe after this he could do one of those enzyte commercials with Jimmy Johnson!
