Tuesday could be significant for the Oklahoma State football program. More specifically, it could be huge for the Cowboys' future at the tailback position.
Kye Staley, a nationally ranked recruit from Guthrie High School, is expected to announce his commitment to Oklahoma State during a noon press conference. A quarterback and safety at Guthrie, the 6-foot, 205-pound Staley is being recruited by OSU as a tailback.
Scout.com rates Staley as the No. 11 safety prospect in the nation. He reportedly also has been offered scholarships by Oklahoma, Michigan, Arkansas, the University of Tulsa, LSU, Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas State and Texas Tech.
Emmanuel Moody, a 2005 Parade All-American from Coppell, Texas, is expected to visit the OSU campus on Tuesday. Last week, he announced that he would transfer out of the Southern Cal program. As a Trojan freshman last season, he rushed for 459 yards and averaged nearly 6 yards per attempt.
In a Los Angeles Times piece on Moody's departure from USC, he specifically mentioned OSU as a possible destination.
