Stoops: "I still have some Gator in me"

You'll read much more about Bob Stoops' three years as Florida defensive coordinator in an upcoming edition of the World. Meantime, here's an interesting quote Gainesville Sun columnist Pat Dooley pulled from Stoops at the Heisman Trophy presentation last Saturday:
"I had a bunch of Gator fans down at that press conference in Florida (last week) wanting me to sign their Gator footballs. I did. I signed them Bobby Stoops ’96. I still have some Gator in me. You don’t lose that when you did what we were able to do down there."
