Super QBs for Super Game

Eli Manning and Tom Brady, as the central figures in this week’s Super Bowl, gives the NFL’s premier game a chance to be a classic.
The NFL has become such a quarterback-centered league that the Super Bowl has the potential to be one of the best-ever.
Manning, of the New York Giants, and Brady, of the New England Patriots, are among the top handful of players currently in the NFL.
And, recent Super Bowl winners have been all about the quarterbacks.
So, with Manning and Brady playing at a such high level, there’s a chance for a tightly-contested, highly-scoring game.
The over-under is 55 points (a betting prop that is the combined score of the two teams). That certainly looks in peril.
Brady is in his fifth Super Bowl, a winner three times. Manning is trying to win his second Super Bowl, which would put him one-up on his brother Peyton Manning.
So, two elite quarterbacks are playing in the NFL’s biggest game.
That gives this Super Bowl a little more juice than usual and a chance for an instant classic.
