TNT Brains Don't Much Like Thunder
Published: 1/17/2012 3:24 PM

Before, during and after Monday's broadcast of the Thunder's victory over Boston, Mumbles and Barkley were extremely critical of the OKC team.

Mumbles, or Shack, who needs two weeks notice to be humorous, said he'd take the Lakers over OKC. Barkley, who was much funnier when he was fat, said he'd take the Lakers over OKC in four games, even though the Lakers weren't close to being the best team in the west.

Both were also critical of Durant, the scoring champ the last two years, because he didn't want to be a center, too.

The reasoning was correct: The Thunder has little scoring threat inside, where the baskets come easier. OKC has to work far too hard for its points.

But there's no need to be so mean.

As is the case with most shows like this, it was better before it got so popular.

All I can say is that the THUNDER will win a championship this season....

The Pick has picked the Heat to beat the Thunder in 6 games for the championship.... What kind of INSIDE scoring dominance do the Heat have ???? Please explain or inform the uninformed sports fan such as myself as to why the Heat can be a champion without scoring presence inside & the Thunder can't....

This season will break down the Lakers & the Mavs because there is no rest, they look good now but look again in mid to late March....

The Thunder inside game is ran by Kendrick Perkins, Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison & Nazr Muhammed(?), if Cole Aldrich were to be given the opportunity to play more, he himself would prove to be a force.... I see a very solid inside presence there that won't back down to anyone.... Only time & games will prove this out & I'm so glad that it's all gonna happen right before our eyes in the very near future....

Thunder over Heat in 6 for the 2012 NBA Championship !!!!

As for the talking heads, Shaq is a Laker for life, Chuckles the clown will agree with whatever Shaq says....

They want L.A. & the Heat to play for a championship because it's draws in ratings & quite frankly, the beaches in Southern California & Miami would be a great place to hang out at at the beginning of summer.... Much more inviting than a spraypool in OKC....
