Tennis Take Center Stage

Wimbledon is one of the few times of the year when tennis finds its way onto the covers of sports sections all over the world.
This year, with Rafael Nadal's dramatic victory over Roger Federer, it became the lead story.
The remarkable five-set match, that last nearly five hours, is being called perhaps the greatest match ever.
That might be true. John McEnroe, who was involved in a 1980 match with Bjorn Borg often hailed as the best ever, called Sunday's final the best.
I'm no tennis expert. But there were some rather incredible shots. In the fifth set, when the two should have been worn out, they instead hit great shot after great shot.
It was full of all kinds of drama.
Nadal finally won 9-7 in the fifth set.
But, really, the sport of tennis was the big winner on Sunday.
