Texas Gave OSU No Chances

Oklahoma State never gave itself a chance against Texas.
The Longhorns made sure the Cowboys would not a Halloween surprise.
Texas, playing flawlessly the past two weeks, cleared what should be its last big hurdle on the way to the national championship game.
Colt McCoy put his name back in the Heisman race as the Longhorns dominated Oklahoma State, 41-14.
It was Texas at its best.
Oklahoma State needed the Longhorns at something less than their best.
And, OSU needed to be nearly perfect. Instead, OSU played poorly and got what it deserved, a lopsided loss.
If you play poorly against a team capable of winning a national championship, you're going to get hammered.
That's what happened. OSU played bad. Texas played good.
So, you get the expected result.

I gave them no chance either. It's laughable that some of you did.

Yeah, why did we give them a chance? Maybe because OSU ended the game with more total yards, more first downs and more time of possesion. OSU beat down the #2 rush defense in the nation and held one of the top passing teams to less than 150 yards. Don't fool yourself, OSU beat OSU with 5 turnovers.

Don't get me wrong, I hope TX wins the national championship and McCoy gets the Heisman they both deserved last year. At least give OSU the credit it is due.
