Shaq is terrible on the Turner network's otherwise great NBA studio show, starring Ernie Jones, Kenny Smith and Bones Barkley.

Shaq is pretty funny when he has two months to think of something clever to say.

Live and dangerous, Shaq speaks too low and isn't quick enough on his feet.

Barkley, Smith and Jones are fast thinkers and witty talkers.

So far Shaq has been at his best, nodding and agreeing with what somebody else said.

The NBA show is still one of the two best studio programs on the air, the other being the NFL Channel's Sunday night wrap with Michael Irvin, Deion and coach Mariucchi.

Agreed. He has been a disappointment. The show was already really good, not sure why they needed another body.

I lost interest in the show years ago, mainly because of Charles Barkley. Shaq has been a clown during his entire career so why would he change now. If Kenny would bring bring his wife on, the model that's on the Price Is Right everyday, I might come back! LOL

Chuck and Kenny are phenomenal...best studio show in sports, period.

What's up with Westbrook going nuts at Memphis Wednesday night?

Granted, shooting 0-13 from the field would make most pros angry.

But his hot-head antics have to go.

He can't carry Durant's practice socks. The Beard's either. If he can't act responsibly, get him out of here.

Has to mean something that they can bicker with each other and still get the job done against a decent team, no?

Obviously, they had no idea 'The Big Aristotle' was gonna bomb worse than Carl Lewis singing the national anthem. The show was great without bringing another former player in. The difference in Barkley and Shaq is, Charles is funny without trying to be and Shaq Daddy isn't funny, and has no perspective to share about the game.

I did like the part when Shaq dominated Charles Barkley in Who He Play for, with a little bit of help.
