The ORU, OSU Highlight Reel

It has not been a season to remember for college basketball in Oklahoma although Oklahoma State and Oral Roberets have provided a few moments.
OSU and ORU have become regulars on national sports television highlight shows.
Oral Roberts was once again featured as one of the top 10 plays of the day on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Friday morning.
Roderick Pearson’s buzzer-beating layup to beat IUPUI in overtime on Thursday was among the top 10 plays featured on the sports highlight show. That’s the second buzzer-beating game-winner for ORU this season and the second time it has made the ESPN top 10 plays.
The other was Damon Bell-Holter’s baseball throw Hail Mary to beat UALR back in December.
Oklahoma State’s Markel Brown has become college basketball’s version of Blake Griffin. His dunks are regularly featured on highlight shows and have become the subject of discussion on sports shows.
Brown first got noticed with a spectacular dunk in an upset of then-No. 2 Missouri. That dunk got on every highlight show for several days and got Brown ejected for a technical, his second of the game.
Brown has since learned to not get a technical but has continued to throw down highlight-reel worthy dunks.
That included another one this week that has been the subject of constant replays.
So, in a season that has provided few memories, OSU and ORU have had their moments.
