The Sorry State of Texas Football

The good news for the Texas Longhorns is the Dallas Cowboys.
The only team playing worse than Texas is Dallas.
The Cowboys followed up Texas’ horrible Saturday by an equally ugly loss on Sunday to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Longhorns, a preseason top 10 team, lost for the third time at home this season when Baylor dumped Texas. The Horns have also managed to lose to UCLA and Iowa State in Austin this season.
That’s amazing, considering the amount of talent the Longhorns recruit every year. How you can turn all of that talent into a lower division team in the Big 12 is amazing.
At this point, Texas is no cinch to reach a bowl.
However, the Longhorns look like chamionship contenders compared to the Cowboys.
The Cowboys dropped to 1-6 and hopelessly out of any playoff scenarios after the loss to Jacksonville.
The Cowboys, also apparently loaded with underachieving talented players, are awful.
Luckily for Texans, there is the World Series and the Rangers hoping to bring the first World Series title to Texas.

Did anyone else notice what a good time some of the cowboys were having on the sideline despite playing one of the worst games ever.I guess maybe they were laughing to keep from crying.Sure wasnt taking the game very serious.

Careful how you use the word "talent" Talent was going to get the 'boys to the Superbowl.

Dad,

Only if our talent was utilized and coached properly, this team would have a 6-1 record.

Hopefully, only hopefully, will JJ finally open his eyes. Just have to wait until next year, or 2012.
