Bob Stoops, seeking something new the week before another road game, made just five players available for interviews this week. Naturally, the road topic came up with all five…

Linebacker Travis Lewis: "It's up to us to silence all of the doubters and to prove something to ourselves and to prove something to everybody else that we're a great team, regardless of where we play."

Defensive end Jeremy Beal (asked if he's tired of being asked questions about the road): "Yeah, but if I were in your shoes I would ask. As a team we see it we're 2-2 on the road. We've just got to go to Waco and play well, play our game, go out and play like we play at home. Simple as that. Play Oklahoma football."

Right tackle Eric Mensik: "A lot of people put so much on it as a road game. We're just gonna go out and play. That's what our mindset is. It's just another game."

Wide receiver Ryan Broyles: "We practice every week to dominate our opponent. It doesn't matter if we're away or if we're home. We practice to win."

Running back DeMarco Murray: "Everybody always makes a big deal about the road. At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter where we play. If you're the better team, you're going to win no matter what. We have to come out and play like we are at home. We have to not let the noise or anything get us off our game. At the end of the day, we know that it doesn't matter where you play, it's how you play."
