Oklahoma's football season is threatened to be hijacked by realignment and revenge. Thank God remembrance is still around.
After Kenny Stills scored his game-winning touchdown at Florida State last Saturday night, he raised one finger on one hand and two on the other. 12.
Austin Box.
"We play every game for Austin," Stills said in postgame. "We're always talking about him. We miss him. We know that every play, he'd be playing his hardest. That's what we're doing for him.
"Immediately after I scored, I thought about him. It just came to me. He would have played his heart out. His spirit is with us, though."
Stills flashed Box's number. Defensive end Frank Alexander wore it
"I found out Tuesday," Alexander said. "Travis (Lewis) came up to me and told me I was going to wear it because I had gotten player of the week last week. It was a real coincidence getting that number, because I had my mom and dad and all of my family in the stands.
"The night I got chosen to wear 12, I had 12 family members in the stands watching. It was a really big honor."
