They're not worthy

I can't hear you. I'm too busy winning.
AP

Four of college football's top 10 teams lost last week and it would have been five if Florida hadn't blocked three kicks against South Carolina. Parity is such that, this late in the season, we still don't know which teams are legit and which teams are fool's gold.
The top two teams in the rankings are Ohio State and Michigan. The winner of that game is destined for a spot in the BCS title game against an inferior opponent to be named later.
Here's an idea: After the Michigan-Ohio State game, crown the winner of that game the national champion and play the bowls for fun. It doesn't seem that either of those teams could possibly play anyone better than each other in a bowl game.
USC? It would be an indictment of the quality of college football if the Trojans reach the title game in a rebuilding, or reloading, year.
Rutgers? Who knew Cinderella was a Jersey girl?
Florida? Don't be surprised if the Gators get run over by Arkansas' Darren McFadden in the SEC title game.
Notre Dame? The Irish, who still must play USC, rank 90th in pass efficiency defense. If Brady Quinn wants to win the Heisman, he should go both ways and play a little safety.
Arkansas? It's hard to forgive a lopsided loss (to USC), even if it came early in the season.
Boise State? Great football program. The only difference between Boise and Rutgers is that Rutgers has the support of the eastern media.
Got anybody else? Does anyone have the credentials to be a contender?
