Thunder Must Fix Bad Starts

It is no mystery what Oklahoma City has to do better in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday in Miami.
It cannot, as it has donee three straight games, dig itself a big hole.
The Thunder has fallen behind by double-digits three straight games. OKC rallied to win Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against San Antonio.
Then, it rallied in the fourth quarter to win Game 1 of the NBA Finals against Miami.
Finally, in Game 2 against the Heat, the deficit was too much to overcome as Miami held on for a 100-96 victory.
The slow starts are a serious problem.
“That was the game (on Thursday),” said OKC’s Kevin Durant. “We can’t start down 18-2. Thinking about it though, I think we got some good looks.
“We missed a few chippies, lay-ins but we can’t et down that much, especially at home. We’ve got to correct it. We’ve got to stay positive. That’s the whole deal. We’ve got to come ready for Game 3.”
Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks said it is all about attitude for the Thunder.
“We’re a much better team than to be down 17 (in the first quarter on Thursday),” said OKC coach Scott Brooks. “We’ve got to come out with some toughness.
“We’ve got to come out with force and energy. All of us have to be on the same page of just fighting every possession.”
