Tigers First, and Very Small, Step in Right Direction

Tiger Woods has a very carefully crafted public image.
Apparently, even after his very public revelation that he is a serial cheater, that won't change.
Woods, who has cheated on his wife with a long list of women that includes a porn star and a pancake house hostess, will break his silence with a press conference on Friday.
Calling what Woods is going to do a press conference is stretching it. He is scheduled to make a public appearance with a selected group of journalist and not take any questions.
That doesn't sound like any press conference I've heard of.
Press conferences are open to all legitimate press members and there are questions asked and answered.
This will not stop the tabloid pursuit of information about his private life.
And, until Woods is ready to come clean and clear the air, it won't stop the tabloid media from pursuing a story they first broke.
That won't make Woods happy but he has no one to blame but himself.

He has lost all credibility. I for one could care less if I ever see him in another tournament. He si a great golfer, but.....
