Time for the Ags to Go

Texas A&M has perhaps the richest alumni base in the Big 12, the second largest enrollment and alumni, is the closest BCS school to Houston (perhaps the nation’s most fertile football recruiting area) and nice traditions.
Also, the school has an excellent academic reputation.
Perhaps the Aggies should win more.
A&M has a ton of advantages and it could be argued that no school in the Big 12 Conference does less with more than Texas A&M.
The Aggies don’t like living in the shadow of Texas. Okay. Fine. Just move on.
Good luck with that shadow cast by Alabama, Florida, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Arkansas and the rest of the SEC.
We’re not bitter about Texas A&M leaving the Big 12. We’re just tired of hearing about it. Just go already.
The Aggies might find life in the SEC even more difficult and discouraging than in the Big 12.
If Texas A&M would live up to its advantages, and perceived self-importance, it will do well in the SEC. It should have done far better in the Big 12.
If not, the Aggies will wish for the good old days of the Southwest Conference.
