Tulsa Needs to Build on Central Arkansas

Tulsa needed to regain some confidence and Central Arkansas came at a perfect place on the schedule.
The Golden Hurricane, coming off that horrific 65-28 loss at Oklahoma State, was desperate to beat anyone.
Central Arkansas is a bad team but it doesn’t matter. Tulsa needed the 41-14 victory over the Bears on Saturday night.
Now, it’ll be interesting to see if Tulsa can build anything off this victory.
There is no one left on the schedule, even struggling Notre Dame, that looks too powerful for Tulsa.
On the other hand, TU isn’t good enough to overlook anyone. The next game, at Memphis, should be treated as a championship showdown.
It will be a struggle but it is not out of the question that Tulsa could still contend to win Conference USA.

Forgive me, but I'm still trying to figure out why Tulsa kept going for 2 against East Carolina.
