The following is more likely to happen than Tulsa landing the Olympics.

Visitors from space land in Central Park.

ORU wins a game in the NCAA basketball tournament.

Leno resigns.

South Beach freezes over.

Sports talk radio ratings increase.

Stoops wins another national title.

Unemployment is five percent.

The Oklahoma City media trips over a clue.

Sam Bradford leads the Rams to a Super Bowl next year.

The OU basketball coach praises his team.

Congress gets a 90 percent approval rating.

Tulsa's streets are passable.

We'll contribute $15 to Tulsa's Olympic bid to get a joke t-shirt.

Weak. Is this from the winner of TPS's "Be The Picker For A Day" contest? Talk about mailing it in. Good thing you don't have to write a column every day.

Isn't this an old story? Or has the drive actually come back...are there actually t-shirts to be had?

Hey Pick, all clever things... one you might have forgotten would be: 'the Tulsa World will actully act like there is an NBA basketball team in our state...'

Well...pretty lame, but you could have added..."any Tulsa Driller hits more than 15 home runs in his home park with the south wind in his face." or "NBC will pay NHL to broadcast its games." or "Gundy is fired as long as T. Boone lives" or "Wojo is fired as long as keeps winning 20 games, mostly against dog teams". Of your posts I think the most likely to happen is Bradford SOME DAY wearing a Super Bowl ring.

Who cares? I want to know what the "Picker" thinks about what happened this weekend. I'm looking to the right of my screen and I see Odds are OSU, OU won't be going dancin. Well then, what is the pickers opinion about OSU now?

Geez, Picker, you must be quite bored to have a post like this.

Out Pick The Picker

The Picker began entertaining – and infuriating – sports fans in 1993. Each week during football season, he writes about his picks of college and NFL games in his Thursday Sports column. He's never afraid of sharing his opinions about the game and the personalities who play it. Readers have a chance to go against him each season in the Outpick the Picker contest. He welcomes the competition.
