Twitter tells me, emphatically, that RG3 is your 2011 Heisman winner

After I filed my Heisman Trophy ballot (an hour before deadline) today, I asked my Twitter followers for their feedback. Who would they list as their top three?

I got great feedback, 64 actual responses (plus several offered up by Mr. Smarty Pants and Associates), and Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin was the runaway winner, named on 63 of 64 "ballots", getting 54 first-place votes and tallying 175 total points.

Second was Stanford's Andrew Luck, followed by LSU's Tyrann Mathieu, Alabama's Trent Richardson and Wisconsin's Montee Ball.

If you were paying attention Monday, those were the five "finalists" invited to New York for Saturday night's Heisman Trophy ceremony.

I won't reveal my actual ballot until after the show Saturday because, well, the Heisman Trophy Trust asks us not to and I respect that every year. So please don't ask.

Anyway, here's a collected string of my Twitter posts this afternoon, 140 characters (or less) at a time. I left the hashtags and all the repetitive references to give it more of a Twitter feel:
