Unsung -- Or Un-Tied -- Heroes
Published: 2/17/2008 3:09 PM

Sure, you can make Terrel Harris the hero of OSU's upset victory over Texas A&M. It was his block of Donald Sloan that proved huge in ending a 19-game road losing streak.
Or, you could put a hero label on Byron Eaton, who had a second consecutive monster game, or Obi Muonelo, who sweated out clutch free throws with 16 seconds left.
But we're omitting a couple of under-the-radar "heroes." Radio broadcaster Dave Hunziker has been doing his job minus a tie the last two games. And the Cowboys are 2-0 with their two biggest wins of the season.
Hunziker's radio partner, John Holcomb, jumped on the bandwagon and went tie-less in College Station, when the Cowboys got their first victory over a ranked team this season.
Want to bet they go tie-less again when OSU plays a Saturday game against Kansas?
It's only superstition, of course, but the Cowboys are playing super in the meanwhile.
P.S.: I'm superstitious, too. When traveling by plane, I always wear some kind of Superman gear -- shirt, wrist watch or underwear. Don't laugh. I made it back, didn't I?

Jimmie, after these 2 big wins over top 35 teams, what are the odds that OSU can actually upset Kansas in GIA? After the huge road win, I think the place will be packed so obviously the atmosphere will help. But what do the players need to do to steal a win?

Hey, whatever works.

My opinion when OSU plays Kansas? Eaton needs to continue to play like he has the last two games and the Cowboys will have a much better chance. It will be interesting to see if every seat is filled.

I'm glad I'm not the only guy that still wears superman undies!

Underwear that's fun to wear!
