We Owe Tebow
Published: 11/29/2011 4:40 PM

First, what chance does OSU have to move past Alabama or LSU? Zero chance. A loss to Iowa State trumps all.

A simple solution is to make rematches against the rules.

Next, which team will rotten weather Saturday night help? OU. Anything that limits how much how much thinking players have to do to execute the Venables Einstein Defense will be of benefit.

On to Tebow.

Media punks and incompetent hacks are sometimes hard to spot. They hide their bias behind warped history notes. Things like Tebow bring out the miserable side of media analysts. The hateful self-proclaimed experts don't like Tebow's throwing motion? Please. There have been worse throwing motions win Super Bowls, the wrestler at the Bears, for instance, McMahon, who threw punts. So it has to be something else people hate, Tebow's in-your-face religious beliefs perhaps, or his pleasant attitude.

The problem with Tebow's game has to do with science, not muddled or biased theory. You run enough from the quarterback spot, somebody will get you. Somebody will bust some bones on Tebow and they'll van him off and that will be that. It will have been fun while it lasted.

People who hate him for all the wrong reasons are the real losers.

This year's Bedlam has been degraded to the battle of dumb and dumber. The weather forecast is befitting...just like the recent play of these two teams: ugly

Tebow? Media hacks are always stomping on someone...right now it's Tebow. So he's won a few against inferior competition...and he's an atypical NFL QB nice guy who goes to church. So what? Eventually the hits will begin to take a toll...just ask Vick.

Vick is 6 foot and about 190, Tebow is 6'3", 240 and ripped, he'll last longer than the most overrated player of alltime(vick). Good job Philly givin that guy 100 mill...

Solo, inferior competition? Like who, the team the mighty Steelers were lucky to beat?

Tebow just beat the Raiders & Chiefs back to back on the road, something the Broncos have NEVER done & he just beat the Chargers.... If you know anything about the NFL, the Raiders, Chiefs, & Chargers are all in the Broncos conference & he swept them....

It's not that I'm a Tebow fan but when all the EXPERTS say you can't do it & then all you do is win, that's pretty sweet & you gotta admire that....

I wonder how much church attendance has improved week by week in Denver, Colorado since Tebow has taken over ????

I'm sure someone will be all too willing to disaffirm those numbers quickly....

It don't matter though, bottom-line is.... Tim Tebow just wins baby, Al Davis would have been proud to have him as his QB....

I wouldn't say Tebow beat all those teams.

The defense had just as much to do with it as he did. In one of those games didn't he complete like 4 or 5 passes.

I'm not knocking the guy, he is a fierce competitor, but it's unfair to say Tebow beat all those teams.

What don't you understand about the inferior level of competition in the AFC? good grief...

You mean compared to the great level of competition in the NFC? The NFC East is a joke. The NFC is Green Bay and Green Bay alone. The best team is in the NFC, the overall balance of top teams in in the AFC (Pats, Ravens, Steelers, etc).

The NFL is high level football, its way too picky to start saying a win over this team is less than another. The NFL bosses have worked hard to make a very homogenous(see uniforms, socks, etc, they have rules how you have to wear ur socks!) and a very = league. Lots of 24-21 games. BTW, thats a real stretch to say Green Bay is the best team in the NFC...theyre the defending champs and undefeated...brilliant!
