We don't think Landry Jones is a great quarterback

It has somehow come to pass that if you don't think Landry Jones is a great quarterback, you don't count as a legitimate football fan.

Not good, not very good, Landry Jones must be considered great.

Well, guess what. We grade the media that grades the football teams with this: F. And we don't think Landry Jones is a great quarterback.

We think he is good. Sometimes very good. Occasionally below average.
He has a strong arm. He doesn't move like lightning and has been known to have hot feet.

He appears to be a second round NFL pick. Very good. Not great. So there. You don't need to be afraid of all the people who get into games free and still criticize crowd sizes.

As for the bowl draws:

Let's get up a pool concerning how many in-state people go to the OSU-Purdue game. Our guess -- 13,450 paid.

Talk about a classic Oops: TU is going to Memphis, the team it beat is going to Vegas!

And this sounds like another fun bowl pool: How many yards will High School Harry get on the Mike Stoops defense? Our guess -- 688.

Get rid of the BCS blues: Enter our bowl contest and watch us probably win our own monster HDTV over thousands of you pretenders.

OU's success in the bowl game will depend on how many points Landry scores for the other team, directly or indirectly. If he is responsible for 2 or more scores for the opponent, OU loses or has to pull out a squeaker. KSU loss prime example. Last years Bedlam was the ultimate; 28 pts.! He scores more for sooners, they win!

Well, Pick, based on the results of your forecasts for both of the TU-UCF games, I'd say we're likely to have a pretty good chance at that HDTV, so I wouldn't go clearing out space for it just yet!

Usually when OU players get in trouble before the bowl game, it is a bad omen for the Sooners.

The time for the Picker has come and gone! He does nothing but hurl insults at teams, player and fans. It is not original nor is it entertaining. It was novel years ago, it is nothing but acerbic and inflammatory today.
