With five touchdown passes at Texas Tech last week, senior quarterback Brandon Weeden become Oklahoma State’s career leader in TD passes. He has 69. Zac Robinson had 66 in 2006-09.
Against Iowa State on Friday night, Weeden is positioned to break another Robinson record – the school record for career passing yards.
In nearly three full seasons as the Cowboy starter, Robinson passed for 8,317 yards. In only 23 career starts, Weeden has passed for 8,168 yards. At Iowa State, he needs only 150 yards to become the new record-holder.
Last season, Weeden set single-season school records for passing yards (4,277), completion percentage (.669) and touchdown passes (34).
