Westbrick Builds an Outhouse on National TV

This was not a good weekend for state stars on the national tube.

First off, Landry Jones looked like his feet were stuck in cement in the college all star game, being sacked twice while completing three short ducks.

Hello Canada.

Next, the Thunder point guard put down 16 bricks in a 6 for 22 shooting nightmare versus the Lakers.

Air balls, outside bottom of the net balls, rim balls, shots that almost knocked the square off the backboard, Westbrook couldn't have hit the Pacific Ocean from the Santa Monica Pier.

In the first place, he's no point guard. He's a two guard. Point guards make others better. Westbrook is an athletic gunner who is barely averaging 40 percent from the field. When he's as far off as he was Sunday, somebody should suggest that he quit throwing up 30-footers. His shot was so erratic, Kobe quit guarding him out front.

But all is not lost. The NBA is wide open. Miami is weak inside. San Antonio is aged. Golden State and Memphis are up and coming, but unproven. Chicago seems always hurt. The Thunder is right in the middle of things.

The team could stand some coaching along about now.

Typical talking heads, one bad night for Westbrook and they write him off.

Landry Jones isn't good enough to play in Canada. Where is the XFL when you need it?
