What About the Victims at Penn State
Published: 11/10/2011 10:12 AM

Joe Paterno had to go.
So does everyone else involved in any way in the cover up or lack of responsibility for reporting the alleged sexual assault case at Penn State.
We don’t know all of the facts yet about the case.
However, we do know who said what and when. We know who did not take action to stop or try to stop the alleged assaults.
So, everyone, including Paterno, had to go immediately.
Why students, or anyone, would think differently is beyond comprehension.
It doesn’t matter how many games he won or how long he has been at Penn State. Paterno had to go.
Paterno was totally out of touch. As late as Wednesday, Paterno was trying to tell Penn State that they shouldn’t spend any time discussing the issue and that he would resign at the end of the season.
Sorry, Paterno lost all right to determine his own fate when he failed to act to protect victims of a sexual predator.
Why some folks are rallying to support Paterno is beyond me.
Those same folks should be rallying to support the victims and do what they can for these children.
For get Paterno. Forget Penn State football.
What about the victims?

Completely Agree, Paterno is of the old way , ignore it for it brings shame , The Penn State kids out there cheering for him are just idiots like that jackholes downtown that just showed up cause it was something to do , something to post on twitter, what happened there , is happening everywhere and it must stop.

We as a nation have got to stop dancing around these people , i dont care what made them the way they are. they will not change , there should be death sentences for abuse of this sort. Our Kids are our future , End the Abuse .

The rally, the "Blue out", and the devotional on the field at the beginning of the game was an embarrassment.

The Penn State Nation acted as if THEY were the victims somehow and for some bizarre unexplained reason Nebraska joined in.

It's not as if they lost a teammate like Austin Box or even worse like oSu lost its Basketball Ten.

Passers-by stopping and kneeling to pray to their Jo Pa in his front yard????

These people have such a warped and distorted sense of right and wrong... sense of perpetrator, accomplice, conspirator, and victim that its almost impossible to believe it you didn't witness it with your own eyes.
