Who thinks OU will beat Kansas this weekend? Kansas fans

It's bizarre to peek at a Kansas message board and see Jayhawk fans busted up over their basketball team. There's a thread on the KU Scout board Phog Net which includes predictions for this weekend's Oklahoma-Kansas game in Norman.

A sample follows...

OU 73-56… "This has the feeling of the other team hitting 7 of their first 8 threes and blowing our doors off." (Kevbo9)

(TW: Kevbo9 obviously hasn't scouted the Sooners. They haven't made seven 3s since beating Oklahoma State Jan. 12. And seven of their first eight? Iowa State maybe. OU? Nope.)

OU 85-44 (gpeterson133)

(TW: We have since learned that gpeterson133's account is registered to someone in Columbia, Mo.)

OU 77-46 (DodgeHawk88)

(TW: We have since learned that DodgeHawk88's account is registered to someone in Manhattan, Kan.)

OU 65-57 (PotterLake)

(TW: Now this is reasonable.)

KU 45-44 (HawkinDeutschland)

(TW: So is this, given the way these two teams have been playing offense.)

12-8… "But not sure which way I am leaning yet." (phogfever)

(TW: 12-8? Maybe at the half. Yeah, I can definitely see that as a halftime score.)

OU 72-56… "Well let's see, we got clown stomped by the worst team in the conference and arguably one of the worst teams in the entire country period and now people think we can beat an actual fringe tournament team on the road? I'll believe it when I see it." (RizzHawk)

(TW: Note to self – work "clown stomped" into a story before the end of the season.)

"Don't like it, but we get humiliated again." (SpaceAntelope)

(TW: Note to self – find SpaceAntelope the next time you're in Lawrence and party with him.)

OU 72-58… "I see no indications that things will change or improve." (MissTCShore)

(TW: If the Sooners win, I doubt it will be by double figures.)

"If we get off to a slow start, OU by double figures." (jimjay)

(TW: Unless, that is, the Jayhawks get off to a slow start. If that happens, and the boys in blue droop their heads, all bets are off."

OU 69-61 (MalandMo)

OU 63-55… "Time to set the bar low." (nomansland2008)
