Will Jack Frost sabotage Missouri-OSU?

Oklahoma State and Missouri are scheduled to play a basketball game at 8 p.m. Wednesday. But will a blizzard cause the game to be postponed?

An OSU official indicated Tuesday that the game will be played if Missouri -- and game officials -- can make it to Gallagher-Iba Arena.

As of Tuesday morning, the Tigers were in Kansas City. If they make it all the way to Stillwater, it may not be until game day.

With OSU recently observing the 10th anniversary of the plane crash, why would the Big 12 officials seem hell-bent on playing this game tomorrow night? They seem to get stupider by the day.

Tulsa World Sports Writer Jimmie Tramel is a former class president at Locust Grove High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern State University with a journalism degree and, while attending college, was sports editor of the Pryor Daily Times. He joined the Tulsa World on Oct. 17, 1989, the same day an earthquake struck the World Series. In 2007, he wrote a book about Oklahoma State football with former Cowboy coach Pat Jones.
