Will OU Score 75 Versus TU?
Published: 8/29/2011 3:23 PM

What's the matter with kids today?

OU probably didn't even realize it was playing TU until Tulsa's best player was suspended.

Talk about a classic look-past game. With Mack the Dull Knife at Texas having named the stiff at quarterback as his man again, Florida State looms like a whirling storm as OU's biggest challenge to a national championship. Clearly, Mack has lost it. All he ever had was Vince Young. Now, unless he comes to what senses he has left and plays McCoy's brother, his job will be in peril.

TU's loss was gigantic. The lost player was a game-changer, a NFL talent.

Now it's on the defense. If the TU D isn't much improved from a year ago, OU will score at will.

This game could be a lot closer than people think. According to Internet sources including Kenny Stills's own tweets, he has been suspended for the TU game due to his DUI incident. Also, Tony Jefferson, arrested for obtruction of justice earlier this year, and Stacy McGee, arrested for possession of marijuana, face possible suspensions.
Of course, nobody knows or is commenting upon Ronnell Lewis's status.
Maybe we will know more on Tuesday when Big Game Bob addresses the media.

TU = 45
OU = 41
take it to the bank...................

Yeah, I'll take that to the bank. $100 says you're wrong.

At this point I'll take leaving Norman with a 20 pt loss and injury free.

It's almost inconceivable that a young man who could have written records no other person could ever reach and who had instant millionaire written in his future as a pro could have thrown it all away with such an immature and short-sighted stunt for a few dollars for clothes.

What on earth was he thinking?

$2800 worth of stuff for $13, I guess his story is that he was told it was a clearance sale....

If $2800 is considered just a few dollars then what he did is nothing & he should be placed immediately back on the team BUT if $2800 is still something considered something then the punishment fits....

With todays spoiled & entitled athletes infesting every college campus from sea to shining sea, I can see where he believed he deserved what his girlfriend did for him....

Pick, regardless of who is starting for the ESPN Longhorns, FSU was always going to be the biggest hurdle in the way of OU getting to the MNC game.

Starting the younger McCoy brother may have been just as bad if not worse for UT. Besides, Longhorn fans want David Ash to start...not Case. And to be truthful, we may still see one of those two QBs starting by the time the RRR comes around.

TU couldn't stop traffic last year.

With an open date before Florida State, OU can focus on this more intently.

Gene-o: You're a gentleman, thanks for the other business. I'll give you TU and the 23 for a wager of one golf ball.

Mr. Picker, I have a sleeve of Penta golf balls that I offer in lieu of your proposal for a ball and TU +23. My three against your one. This is too easy......
We have a group of guys who will meet to discuss the Rules of Golf this Friday (and have a libation). Would you please attend and give us your comments as to how those Rules have gained a similarity to life in general, or something like that?

Sometimes the sarcasm and over the top by the pick is funny, sometimes it's beyond realistic. OU believes their first 3 are as tough as anyone. It's not TU or OU's fault that TU gets no respect. How are they not a preseason top 25 team? One of the teams they beat (ND) is ranked 14th for some odd reason. Kinne is a great player and, by the way, the starter at UT if he had stayed...
if you think OU will roll automatically see: Air Force or Cincy or Utah St from last year...they almost lost all 3 of those games and Tulsa is better than all 3.

As a TU fan, I hope OU players & coaches read the picker this week.
