It's beginning to look as though Texas won't have enough players to even field a team for the Red River renewal Oct. 6.
Freshman James Henry became the sixth Longhorn arrested since June Monday when he was charged with two felony counts. The alleged crime? Pummeling the victims of a robbery allegedly perpetrated by two other Texas players last July.
The Longhorns allegedly will show up and play Oklahoma in 2 1/2 weeks. Though to see the Austin court docket, and to read this blistering blog from Houston Chronicle columnist Richard Justice, that is yet to be officially determined:
"Texas-OU anyone? I'll take blowouts for a thousand, Alex. Come on, Longhorn Nation, buck up. It's not like it'll be the first time you got crushed by the Sooners... The running game stinks. The defense can't tackle. Colt McCoy is throwing it to the other team too often and Jamaal Charles can't hold onto the ball."
