Exquisite Limos offers Bentley classic autos
Joel Reyes stands in front of three of the vehicles available through his company, Exquisite Limos — including two classic Bentleys. KELLY KERR / Tulsa World

The Bentley automobile has long been known for its grandeur -- and a new Tulsa limousine company has two in service.
Exquisite Limos, which opened recently, was inspired by similiar operations in California and New Jersey, according Joel Reyes, who owns and operates the service with his wife, Maralana. It features a 1952 Bentley R=type, and a 1963 Bentley S-3, along with two Lincoln stretch Towncars.
The company employs 30 drivers, who are trained to operate the classic vehicles. "With the Bentleys being 40 to 50 years old, it takes a little more training than usual," he said.
The couple also own and manage Exquisite Valet, and Joel Reyes said they started the limo service "because Tulsa has been a good city for start-up companies."
"We decided to go with the vintage vehicles versus new limosuines because it is different," he said. "Not many people think of classic vehicles as limousines, but we are trying to change that."
Joel Reyes added that the only difference between the Bentleys and the stretch limousines "is that it is a more intimate setting for the persons riding."
"After finally riding in a vehicle, we get great raves from the clients," he continued. "Whether totally impressed by the vehicle itself, or just knowing that they are riding in luxury, most clients love the experience."
The company is managed by Anthony Harwell. For more information, call 481-2070, or visit the company's Web site at

Do not even consider using Exquisite Limos in Tulsa. They are very difficult to get a hold of and take several days to call or email back, even after leaving several messages. I hired them for my wedding despite this and it was a big mistake. The "decorations" were ratty and faded, and the 1963 Bentley actually broke down halfway through the ride! It was 100 degree weather in August, and my new husband and I were stuck standing in the heat in our formal wear in the middle of downtown!! The car just quit, and our driver couldn't get a hold of his boss for instructions! We couldn't go anywhere and were stuck in the stifling heat, me in my 20-pound wedding dress and he in his tux, for 45 minutes until his parents came to pick us up. And then they only offered us half a refund, because "we had the car for half the time". If I had talked to them myself, they would have gotten an earful. We were late to our reception because they didn't keep the car in working order, and we were stinky and sweaty to boot. Only one good thing, the chauffeur was very nice.
Avoid Exquisite Limos at all costs.
