Spring brings new Dollar Tree to Tulsa

Chesapeake, Va.-based Dollar Tree Inc. recently opened a new store in Tulsa at 7428 S. Olympia Ave.

The location has 7,992 square feet. It employs 10 to 14 people.

The manager is Raymond McDonald. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m to 8 p.m.

The Dollar Tree chain is one of the nation's largest discount variety store chains selling everything for $1 or less.

"Dollar Tree is proud to be part of the Tulsa community," said Chelle Davis, a Dollar Tree spokeswoman. "Our stores offer a fast, fun and friendly shopping experience."

Among the items offered are seasonal items; party goods, including gift wrap and bags; health and beauty products; housewares such as stemware, plates and kitchen linens; food and snacks; apparel and accessories; household cleaners; and specialty sections such as the Create-a-Gift Basket section and Teachers Corner.

Dollar Tree has more than 3,500 stores in 48 states.

The company operates a nationwide logistics network and employs more than 40,000 associates.

Dollar Tree trades publicly on the Nasdaq market under the ticker symbol DLTR.
