Jenks

Overview: Jenks was the fastest growing city in the Tulsa metro area between 2000 and 2010. According to the U.S. Census, the suburb south of Tulsa grew by more than 75 percent, to 16,928. Its 2012 population had grown further, to 18,059.

The city is known for its antique shopping and a growing number of attractions, including the Oklahoma Aquarium and the Riverwalk Crossing, which recently was purchased by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The school system is recognized for high academic standards and consistent success in high school athletics.
