FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) -- A soldier from
Oklahoma has died of injuries from a traffic
accident in Baghdad, Iraq.
The Pentagon said Army Spc. Robert T.
Hendrickson, 24, of Broken Bow died Tuesday
at an Army hospital in Baghdad.
A Fort Hood statement said Hendrickson
was injured when his military vehicle struck a
barrier and overturned.
Hendrickson was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment of Fort Hood's 1st
Cavalry Division. The Biloxi, Miss., native had
been assigned to Fort Hood since May 2002.
