Kids left in car outside strip club
DETAINED
Cardrico Lajuan Nash:
He was in the strip club for at least an hour.

A Sapulpa man is arrested and his four children, ages 3 months to 7 years, are in protective custody.
A Sapulpa man was arrested early Thursday on allegations that he left four children in a car in near-freezing temperatures while he was in a Tulsa strip club.
Cardrico Lajuan Nash, 32, was booked into the Tulsa Jail on four felony counts of child endangerment after a former felony conviction.
Witnesses reported seeing the children, ranging in age from 3 months to 7 years, in a car parked outside the Tabu Topless Cabaret in the 3300 block of East 51st Street with no adults present. They called 911 about 1 a.m., according to an arrest report. When police arrived, the four children were asleep.
The temperature outside was about 35 degrees, the report states.
Officers found Nash, the children's father, and learned that he had been in the club for at least an hour, the report states.
The mother of two of the children was working at another Tulsa strip club at the time, and the mother of the other two was at home, Capt. Rick Helberg said.
Nash apparently had picked up the children Wednesday night after not having seen the three older children in a year, Helberg said.
The children, who were not injured, were taken into protective custody after Nash's arrest, he said.
Nash has felony convictions for failing to provide for a child, false impersonation and possession of a firearm while under Department of Corrections supervision.
He faces a Jan. 23 jury trial on a felony drug-trafficking charge and was in the Tulsa Jail on Thursday afternoon with bail set at $25,000.

Now the DHS has these children. If parents realized how evil and cruel the DHS can be they would do everything in their power to see that their children were protected from these people. If you don't know about them ask around.

Question: since when has the neighborhood around 51st and S. Harvard had a strip club???????
Used to live in Tulsa near 61st and S. Hudson and that was a wonderful part of town. Has that area gone downhill that much?

this guy should be shut and locked in a freezer for about 4 or 5 hours and see how he likes it. criminals should be punished in the same manor that they used on their victims.

#2 Yes it has! It used to be a gas station. We fought them putting it in there but lost. The good thing is when they widen I-44 it will be gone! But thanks to all of the section 8 apartments in the area now, yes the crime has gotten a lot worse in this area.Don't even think about leaving your car in your driveway anymore, or anything else out you don't want stolen or vandalized.

That is just sad. What makes them think they can do that to their own children. People are just selfish these days.

#1 If you read this story, you'd see these children need to be protected from this 'father' as well. If he was a good father, he would have been doing everything in his power to BE a good parent, but his record shows he's not and probably never will. I have to wonder why on earth the mother of the 3 yr old would turn that child over to him after not seeing him for a year. This is just pathetic !!!

What a pig. 2 mothers, 4 children. Couldn't care less about any of them. I wish the mothers could be charged with endangerment turning them over to him. Pigs.

These poor children. How many childless couples want children and then to have parents like this to not even care.

Frank, thank you for being a racist.
What ALSO makes me sick is that there are SO many people who cannot have children. Then you have idiots like these who can't keep their pants on long enough to take care of their children.

Hey #4--you can't blame people on Sec 8 for everything. They said the scum bag is from Sapulpa. Strip clubs attract the scum from everywhere. Please don't label Sec 8 people that way
#8--his color has nothing to do with it either. I am not on Sec 8 and I am not black so don't even go there.

Frank & Saint, do you remember when the WHITE guy did the same thing about a year ago? I think he was from KS and it happened at Escapades. (But that guy didn't have a gun on him)

Can someone explain to me why this man's race is relevant? If I read these comment boards and make the same broad stroke assumptions about white people that you all make about us, I would have to conclude that you all are incapable of spelling, using punctuation, or thinking critically. Y'all make the folks teaching Ebonics sound like Rhodes Scholars. And what's with trashing strip clubs? Sex is an honest business, just like tobacco, alcohol and fast food. If it makes you feel holier than thou to rail against people who indulge their (yes) God-given urges to enjoy the female form in a legal manner and setting, then rant all you want, but just don't kind yourselves: You're a bunch of blithering moralistic blowhard hypocrites. Live and let live already, and buy a dictionary fer chrissakes!

Well, if the freakin' bouncers would just let kids into strip clubs, then this wouldn't have happened. Duh! The bowling alleys around town provide child care, why don't the strip clubs?
Say, this gives me an idea: Strip club day care, one section for adults, another for kids. It's a winner, fer sure.

These children belong in the care and of relatives or friends the DHS should not even be involved in the case, now these poor kids are their property and they will make the most of it. They are so cruel and evil. even one of their supervisors refers to herself as the supervisor from Hell. does this tell you all anything about DHS. AVOID them.

Jesus, people...get off the race subject. Just for the record,I am white...and I find it offensive to bring race into it...when will people begin to see people instead of color, origin, sexual orientation and so forth?

It is funny some of you say ohh poor children what trash they have as parents and ohh these kids don't stand a chance, well in 10 to 20 years or less these kids will no longer be kids and when they go out and commit a crime because they don't know any better because obviously no one is doing it, then the same people will want to see them burn. How about this we try to find a common goal of helping the children in the areas where they are most likely not to have a fair chance of life or because idiot parents or family and actually give them something GOOD to latch on to. Until then the cycle continues and this problem will only become worse.

, #23. KB.. Who cares if YOU are offended because someone brings race into it. Your question, "when will people begin to see people, instead of color, origin, sexual orientation and so forth?"
The answer to your question is NEVER !!!! That is just not going to happen, so forget it.
You say you are white, well, I bet if your son or daughter starting dating a black person that you would scream bloody murder. You are no differant than the majority of us. So, be quiet !!!!
