Tulsa's Mohawk Water Treatment Plant remains without power Wednesday morning, city officials said.
American Electric Power-Public Service Company of Oklahoma expected the plant's electricity to be restored by Tuesday night but encountered some problems.
Output has been increased at the city's other water treatment plant, A.B. Jewell.
Residents are still being asked to conserve water as much as possible.

There is no need to worry-PSO is working on the problem. They have a specific crew for the treatment plant. Besides that A B Jewell always pumps water but it will be pumping twice as much now then normal. The water is safe just like it was a week ago.

That is untrue. I work at City Hall and the water is as safe as it was last week to drink. Dave-please let the OHP know that is not true.

A co-worker just talked to one of the producers at Channel 2 (a friend of hers) , and he says they have not heard any such news.

Press release is getting released right now. The City of Tulsa’s water is safe to drink and meets all regulatory standards,” Hardt said.

#6: The following will be the press release from the city:
Neither rumor is true.
Public Works Director Charles Hardt and Environmental Operations Manager Clayton Edwards both confirmed that Tulsa’s water supply is safe to use for drinking and other purposes.
While one of the City’s two water-treatment plants has been without power, the other plant has been producing enough treated water, that meets consumption standards, throughout the ice storm.

Any update on water quality? There is a rumour going that the Mayor's office is preparing an alert about drinking water.
