TCC cancels Wednesday events

Two Tulsa Community College events scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.

A reception for Oklahoma higher education Chancellor Glen D. Johnson scheduled for Wednesday evening has been postponed due to inclement weather and power outages.

Johnson was scheduled to tell 200 people about state colleges' budget requests from the Legislature and colleges' benefits to their communities. The event was to take place at Tulsa Community College's Northeast Campus. A new date has not been set, a TCC spokeswoman said.

Also, TCC's board of regents meeting was canceled.
