Area under winter storm advisory
By Staff Reports

Complete coverage:
Watch videos and slide shows of storm damage and read all of the stories on the ice storm and its aftermath.
A winter storm advisory is in effect for the Tulsa area for Friday night into Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow accumulations of about four inches will be possible in portions of northeastern Oklahoma. Rain will begin to develop Friday afternoon and will transition to snow in the evening and into Saturday afternoon.
The most likely area to receive heavy snow appears to be near the Kansas/Oklahoma border.
The ongoing effort to repair damaged power lines could be impacted by the expected storm. While significant icing is not expected, wet snowfall could cause additional problems and delay repair work.
Friday will have patchy fog before 9 a.m. and a 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. It will be cloudy with a high in the upper-30s.
Chance of precipitation is 100 percent for Friday night, when the low will be about 30.
Saturday brings a 70 percent chance of precipitation. It will be cloudy with a high in the lower-30s. There is a 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. The low will be near 21.

See, you Anglos? We told you- because of HB 1804 all the hard working illegals left Tulsa, and now, without their hard work and sweat keeping things warm, it turned cold.

Mark B. I see you took the regional pettiness with you but are still not proficient at it. You were weak and useless, which is why you were exiled to a place that hates you, you Dust Bowl reject. Pedro, how much for you to haul off my limbs? Zod is an equal opportunity exploiter if the price is right.

This has always been a horrible place for non-whites to live in. They took the land from the Native Indians, they killed African-Americans for being successful in their black wall stret area; why should Hispanics be surprised that they created a law to kick us all out of Oklahoma (legal or illegal). The economy is suffering and will continue to do so. Now this storm has created urgency for more manpower, but wait, they just got rid of it!!
White supremacy pays, doesn't it?

Why does everything go back to "poor me" with people? If you are illegal get legal and stay, if your ancestors were persecuted live your life right in their honor and stop blaming history for your troubles....and me...I was never a slave owner and hurt anyone .....and it we had ice because we lived in oklahoma not because we are being punished.....and please for God's sake look at your own immigration laws before you come here and complain....we just ask that you are legal like the rest of us....Idon't care where you came from....do things the right and legal way and then you will have no worries or fears. and for your info we have our own chainsaw and can do our own yardwork...always have....
everyone stay warm and stop complaining about poor me.....the ice doesn't care what race you are

white supremacy has nothing to do with being legal .....what is it exactly that I would get if I went to Mexico and wasn't a citizen? Citizenship is worth something and means something.....I don't care where you are from if you are legally documented as a citizen...I am documented and I am a citizen...it is called the law. If you want to live here and work here please take the time to become a citizen....yes we all know that we all came from some immigrant.....but they passed through Ellis Island and became a citizen....stop complaining and blaming and move on... we have laws here too...just like where you came from and we shouldn;t have to change them to satisfy the person who does not want to become legal.

I see I made the right call in fleeing to Dallas. There is no reason to risk your health and safety if you can buy a stop-gap solution.
Speaking of which, I was going over the FEMA disaster declaration documents. From all that I am seeing so far, lodging, food, medicine, and other expenses might just be paid by FEMA after all.
Not what I was after, but it would certainly be an unexpected bonus for making the right decision and leaving.

it is called winter in oklahoma....not the apolcalypse because there are no illegal aliens. Believe it or not it would have come a storm if you had been here or not....and we will survive. I have noticed that many people are out working on poles, we aren't left without hope because we enforced our immigration laws. Another race card pulled....My goodness can't you guys come up with something better? Why should you be above the law? Have you read your own immigration laws lately?

La Petite Fille
why are you still here if it is so bad? I don't understand why you come and complain....you know we have laws.....if you are legal you don't have to worry...if you aren't legal...get that way. If you think our laws are bad....read the ones from Mexico concerning immigration. I can't figure out why people come and then moan and groan if the laws don't make concessions for them. Why is it such a big deal to be a documented citizen? I know the government has my information...why should anyone else be any better? Seriously, I don't understand. And please stop blaming every person who is white for every calamity known. I wasn't here when the race riots took place, I never owned a slave, I never took land from anyone....and chances are many of the people who whine about it weren't around either. It is time to let go of all this and move on to become one race. If you knew all this horrible stuff about Oklahoma why in the world did you decide to settle here?Restitution has been made in many ways......are we to pay for our father's sins for the next 10,000 years? Certainly we should learn from our past but we should not live in it.

Freezing Cold in North Tulsa
, Ice Pond, Tulsa (12/15/2007 10:06:48 AM)
I live in North Tulsa, and cant believe that all of South Tulsa has power. If all people of minority didnt live up here in N. Tulsa, then we would have power. All the rich white people in South Tulsa have power, why cant I. They told me it is going to be another week at least, I pay my bill just like the rest of you folks. Like I said if I lived in S. Tulsa, then I would have power. I also drove around and noticed alot of stop signs in S. Tulsa (lights dont work) and there are none here in N. Tulsa, dont you find this pretty ridiculous, wake up people something is wrong here!

I sit here in Pa worrying about him and his safety. Been a while since I've climbed a popcicle!! Lets put our thoughts out there to the people that are working hard to restore Tulsa. You guys need to band together. PS if you see a guy on a pole working for COX hollar a hello.

#23:Freezing Cold in North Tulsa
Um, there are still South Tulsans with no electricity. And if you've been reading the stories, posts, ect (or have seen the news while you've been out and about), you'd have heard that the northwest part of town sustained some of the most damage. More damage = more time to fix the problem. The whole thing with the stop signs is that they ran out. When no one has electricity or lights, do the stop signs really matter? If you're out driving , you should know what to do if the lights are out.
I'm sorry you don't have your electricity on yet, and hope it comes on soon.
