See a calendar of upcoming events at the arena, join Tulsa World reporter Brian Barber on an exclusive video tour of the BOK Center, view 360-degree panoramas of the arena and more.
Miley Cyrus today announced her 2009 North American Tour, presented by Walmart, and promoted by AEG Live.
The 45-show tour, featuring special guest Metro Station, launches Sept. 14 in Portland, Ore.
Cyrus will perform at Tulsa's BOK Center on Oct. 12, a press release from the venue states.
Miley Cyrus stars in the hit Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana,” which is currently in its third season. She also stars in the feature film “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” which topped the box office its opening weekend.
Next, she will begin filming “The Last Song” scripted by Nicolas Sparks. Miley is a multiplatinum recording artist and is the youngest ever recording artist with four No. 1 albums in less than three years.
American Express Pre-Sale on 10 a.m. June 10. Cardholders will be notified via email if they qualify for this presale.
Tickets go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. June 13.
Ticket prices are $82.25, $62.25 or $42.25, plus fees and applicable service charges. For updated tour information, fans can visit

The tour is presented
by AEG Live and Wal-Mart.
For this event all tickets must be purchased over the phone at 1-866-7-BOKCTR or online at
tulsaworld.com/bok
only. No sales will be made from the box office or at the outlets. This show is a “paperless” event to help deter scalping.
On the day of show, concert-goers just need to bring the credit card they used for the ticket purchase and their government-issued photo ID to the concert. All members of the ticket purchaser's party must be present at the same time to enter the venue.
Fanclub presale tickets will also be paperless. Gift Cards will not be accepted, according to a press release.
Tour tickets are limited to four (4) per household.
I Love All Access will provide exclusive access to the tour’s VIP ticket package experiences for the tour. Fans should visit

I remember when her tour went through Dallas last year. A local news station had a contest giving away a pair of tickets to her show and a shopping spree(the show was sold out). A mother had her child lie about having a father in Iraq on his 2nd or 3rd tour of duty and about their household struggles because of it. They ended up winning the contest. Unfortunately for them, they were called out on it a week later on camera on the evening news while they were shopping.

BOK Center keeps pulling in the big names. You don't hear much (if anything) about acts going to Ok. City anymore. LUV IT!

jasouthard... Do you really think these acts are picking Tulsa over OKC? The Ford Center is closed for renovations from April 11 until September 30 according to their website. You also don't have to schedule a lot of events when you have a NBA team packing out the arena 41 nights a year.

And I'm not knocking the efforts of anyone in Tulsa. They are doing a fantastic job. I just don't think acts are picking Tulsa over OKC.
