SemGroup LP announced late Monday it has selected Paul Largess as its chief accounting officer.

Largess has worked as a consultant, served as an adjunct professor of accounting at the University of Tulsa and formerly was controller at Citgo Petroleum Corp. He also has been an auditor with Texaco Oil Co. and Arthur Andersen & Co.

The executive currently serves on the board of directors of ADDvantage Technologies Group, where he is chairman of the audit committee, a member of the corporate governance committee and the nominating committee.

Largess graduated from TU with a degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant.

SemGroup hired Philip Reedy in September to be chief financial officer, but Reedy resigned less than a month later. No reason was given for Reedy’s departure.

SemGroup LP, a Tulsa-based energy company, is scheduled to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy this month.
