Check out Tulsa World music reporter Jennifer Chancellor’s Barrelhouse Beat Blog for music news, videos and more.
Reba McEntire and George Strait will perform a Feb. 20 show at Tulsa's BOK Center, official sites for both country stars confirmed Tuesday morning.
Ticketing information and on-sale dates have not yet been announced. Check back to Tulsa World and tulsaworld.com for more details as they become available.
"I can't wait to get back out there and perform some of my new favorites from 'Twang' along with hits the fans already love," Strait said in a message to fans via his official Web site. "And with my friend Reba, we will make it a really spectacular night."
McEntire, the Oklahoma native and country superstar, will be a guest and performer on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" at 11:37 p.m. Tuesday on NBC, channel 2, cable channel 9.
She is up against Okie colleagues Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, as well as Taylor Swift and Martina McBride for the Country Music Association's Female Vocalist of the Year award. That show is Nov. 11 on ABC.
She's also on a brand new record label, Valory Music Co., and her first solo studio album in six years, "Keep On Loving You," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's country album charts in September.
McEntire is no stranger to the top spot. The Chockie
native has sold more than 55 million albums and garnered 33 No. 1 hits throughout her career.
Strait has had 57 No. 1 hit tunes, has sold more than 33 million albums and is the reigning champ of CMA Award wins.

I saw George in person when he first started out at a PRCA Rodeo in Tulsa. He was great then and he's great now. Those oldies but goodies can't be beat. Bet this one sells out quickly!! This Town Needs the Boz you are so obviously young and so obviously wrong!!

Yes, Dr., Reba does sometimes have that "haunted...deer in the headlights look." Hard to believe she has sold 22 million more albums than King George.

I wish them both the best.
My best advice to the two, is go with a very cheap ticket price.
The top acts have gotten a major share of most Tulsan's entertainment budgets. Second-tier, older acts are not bringing top ticket prices. Ask Britney...

Ignatz... Reba's been doing this longer than George has... Plus, some of her albums have had crossover appeal, where George is all about the country... This is such a great stage pairing, and I'm pumped!
