Even though you may not be 18, you can still vote.

Oklahoma is looking for a rock song! Oklahoma thought that since we have a state song, state flower, even a state rock, we should have a rock song. Some of the bands/artists up for this award are The All-American Rejects, The Flaming Lips and Three Dog Night.

If you want to vote, go to http://www.oklahomarocksong.org/voted.html before November 15 to vote. It is important to vote because this song will represent Oklahoma, just as elected officials represent us in government. All the songs up for election are written, preformed or about Oklahoma.

I will be voting for The All-American Rejects because they are from Stillwater. I love their music and I think having someone from a town not only in Oklahoma but a town with an Oklahoma college in it would be good. I also love their song. Don't forget to vote BEFORE November 15. For more information go to www.oklahomarocksong.org
