An Oilton woman died when her van drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pickup west of Mann- ford on Tuesday, the same day as a three-vehicle collision in Ottawa County that led to a Miami, Okla., man's death.

Dead are Sarah Arlene Tucker, 39, and Cory M. Wallace, 28.

Tucker died at the scene after her 1996 Plymouth Caravan hit a 2006 Ford F-350 pickup about 6:45 p.m. on Oklahoma 51 near 369th West Avenue, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The minivan rolled into a ditch, trapping Tucker for more than 1

1/2

hours, troopers said.

The pickup overturned. Its driver, Dwain Flatt, 63, of Drumright, suffered leg injuries and was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, troopers said.

A passenger in the pickup, Jordan Tyler Williamson, 18, of Bristow, was treated at the scene, the OHP reported.

All three people reportedly were wearing seat belts.

Wallace was injured in a crash about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday that led to his death early Wednesday.

Troopers said his 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt swerved into the oncoming lane on Oklahoma 10 east of Miami and struck a truck before colliding with a third vehicle.

Wallace was flown to a Joplin, Mo., hospital, where he died about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, the OHP reported.

His car was knocked sideways nearly 85 feet and was then struck by a car driven by David Pryor, 48, of Miami, the OHP reported.

Pryor and his 7-year-old son were treated at a Joplin
hospital and released, troopers said.

The truck's driver reportedly was not injured.

All four people reportedly were wearing seat belts.

I work with the brother of Ms Tucker. I hope Mr. flatt will have a full and speedy recovery. Life is a fleeting thing and many times we take it for granted that we will all be here tommorrow to debate what is happening in the world, I hope so for everyones sake. God speed Ms. Tucker.
