Vehicle crashes in Oklahoma claimed the lives of at least four motorists over the weekend, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Killed were Danny Joe Holt, 43, of Ardmore; Floyd Kirk, 46, of Wilburton; McKyna L. Gracia, 22, of Hydro; and an unidentified motorist.

Holt died after his vehicle rolled several times late Saturday near Ravia in what troopers said was likely an alcohol-related crash.

He was driving west on Oklahoma 1 about 11 p.m. when his vehicle went out of control, ran off the road and rolled several times, troopers said.

Holt, who was thrown from the vehicle, died later at a hospital.

He was not wearing a seat belt and had been driving under the influence of alcohol, an OHP report stated.

Kirk died at a Tulsa hospital Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash the day before.

He was driving north on his motorcycle on Oklahoma 2 about nine miles south of Wilburton in Latimer County about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, when the vehicle went out control and ran off the right side of the road. He was thrown from the vehicle, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report stated.

He was flown to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa in critical condition.

Kirk was not wearing a helmet, the report stated.

In Caddo County, Gracia died early Sunday when her vehicle struck a tree and burst into flames.

Authorities said the crash occurred about 5 a.m. on U.S. 281 just east of Binger.

Gracia died at the scene, an
OHP report stated. Troopers said her vehicle left the road to the left, traveled about 240 feet and struck a tree, where it caught fire. She was pinned inside the vehicle. It wasn't immediately known if she was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

She may have fallen asleep, the report said.

Jenks police confirmed that a fatal crash occurred there late Friday night, but refused to release any information about it on Saturday or Sunday.

My condolences. I guess we'll never learn that we shouldn't drink and drive. May God help this family cope with this loss.
