Iraq: As of Tuesday, at least 4,316 members of the U.S. military had died in the Iraq war since it began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

No new U.S. deaths were reported by the military and there were no new identifications.

Afghanistan: As of Tuesday, at least 637 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan as a result of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to the Defense Department.

No new U.S. deaths were reported by the military.

The latest identifications reported by the military:

Army 1st Sgt. John D. Blair, 38, Calhoun, Ga.; died Saturday in Mado Zayi, Afghanistan, when a rocket-propelled grenade struck his vehicle; assigned as an Army National Guardsman to the 1st Battalion, 121st Infantry Regiment, Lawrenceville, Ga.

Army Sgt. Ricky D. Jones, 26, Plantersville, Ala.; died Sunday in Bagram, Afghanistan, when his unit was attacked by indirect fire; assigned to the 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Fort Polk, La.

Army Spc. Rodrigo A. Munguia Rivas, 27, Germantown, Md.; died Sunday in Bagram, Afghanistan, when his unit was attacked by indirect fire; assigned to the 710th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.
