Here we go another rotten apple. Another person in law enforcement giving them all a black eye. Did he use his authority to scare this child into silence? Doing this for 8 years. That means she was about 8 years old when it started. I am so outraged over this. Another life ruined.

About eight years for this girl.

About three years for the boy whose 'Big Brother' molested him.

A couple of months ago we read about two separate cases where fathers impregnated their daughters. Multiple times! Starting when these girls were just little girls.

And there are so many, many more of these men who we walk about during the day never knowing what demons they are to innocent children.

There's so many of them that I can't figure out why there are so many men who are sexual diviates. What gives? They're everywhere. Priests, Sunday School teachers, teachers, next door neighbors, clean cut looking guys, sloppy looking guys, and the list goes on and on and on.

Yes, Rooster they are just as bad, but how many times have we heard of women molesting little boys? I don't have the stats, but it's a tiny percentage compared to men who molest. I don't understand. They're all sick.

Here is the thing, does't make it right at all..but...In history, men would actually marry women as young as 10 I believe. Even back in the biblical days. It sure seems that up until the 1980s, people started actually getting into trouble for it. I think it's about time after thousands of years that this has been hush-hush that we put the people who do it in jail. However, so many of you make the insane statements and to me, by you making those statements, your no better than the one who committed the crime. I think what some of these guys did are sick, but so are some of your comments. We have to hear their case in court and if guilty, well yes we should send them to jail. We also have to start looking at every case and trying to see if maybe the one filing the report has made it up, if so then jail time. Now this guy, no doubt jail time. I just hope while he is in there, that he gets the treatment he needs so what when he gets out, he can be a productive citizen.

how can any of you sit there and talk trash about someone you dont know what if that was some one that you knew personally all of you should be ashamed of yourselves for talking trash on some that you dont know you think that all of you are perfect angels why dont you sit back and think of things that you have done wrong or people that you know give the man a chance how do you know what it was like for him or his reasons for doing it IF HE DID

there are two sides to every story T.Bville how do you do he didnt turn himself in to save the trouble of fighting the girls accusations towards him knowing he wouldnt win cause anybody is going to belive a 16 yr old over a man. so why bother fighting it a man who was a nurse and saved lives and a police officer who protected lives is not likely going to do harm to people when he saved and protected them so why dont you look more into it.

I also came from an abusive childhood. As a resident of Wynona, I invited this man into my home when he was Cheif of Police of our town. While here on other issues I spoke with him about offenders ( talking about my relative) and how if they change their lives for the good then I can open my arms and welcome them as God does us all, but if they do not change for the good then their life is essentially useless and untrustworthy. I asked how can one live with themselves knowing this. I feel so hurt for this child and will pray that she can over come this tragedy, and that she does not let the thoughts control or ruin her life as it has so many other children. I hope and pray that something I said during our conversation made him think about what he was doing, and had done, enough to turn himself in, for it wasn't but maybe 2 weeks, maybe 3, after this visit he was no longer Cheif of Police in Wynona. My prayers go out to all those in such situations. If I can overcome such tragedies, I have Faith in God that others can too.
