Tulsa World Weather: Stay updated on the storms with complete coverage from the Weather Channel.

A morning shower brought two-tenths of an inch of rain to the Tulsa area Friday morning, said National Weather Service meteorologist Kenneth Jackson.

The city that had the most rain in the area was Skiatook, with 0.4 inches, Jackson said.

There will be a 40 percent chance of rain tonight in Tulsa, Jackson said. However, the rest of Labor Day weekend will likely be clear, with only a slight chance of rain Saturday and Sunday.

On Labor Day itself, Jackson said travelers can expect sunny skies with a high of 85.

I'm with the Hippy, it certainly seemed more than slight in Jenks - I was planning on playing golf this morning and just watched the puddles grow on the greens while I waited in the grill area. The staff said they were going to limit carts to the cart path due to the rain.

That must have been liquid sunshine then. That "slight" rain made driving very , very tough this morning to teh tuneof 45-50 mph versus 65.

Slight? According to whom?

Seems like the last couple Labor Day weekends have had some storms to soak and scare the campers at the lakes.

Did they say slight because it didn't last long?

Slight rain? okay if they say so. About like the 6 inches of snow flurries I shoveled one year.

slight rain?
HAHAHAHAHA
it was coming down so hard, we were reduced to about 25-30 mph due to lack of visibility, going through it any faster led to 10' sheets of water on either side of the car. PIty anyone on the sidewalks.lol

The down pour this morning was music to my ears. Only thing is, now my grass shot up and I have to cut it again already.
