NORMAN, Okla. — Police in Norman say a missing 11-year-old boy has been found safe.
Police say Demontrey O'Guinn returned home on his own Sunday evening after disappearing early Sunday afternoon.
Officers say the boy apparently had gone to a Wal-Mart.
The boy was reported missing about 1 p.m. and police say he returned home about 8 p.m.
The search for him included the Oklahoma City police helicopter, local firefighters and police and Norman schools sent out an electronic alert.

If that was my boy he'd have a lot question to answer. I don't know anyone that not working at Walmart to spend six or seven hours there.

Yes, finally a happy ending. Well, not for the boy I fear. But at least he won't do that again.

I think that is a lame excuse, there is nothing to do for 7 hours at wal-mart. Someone needs to give the kid a drug test. Eleven years old is the average age of kids trying marijuana and alcohol now adays.

Hey, this is a good ending. There is all kinds of other things that could have happened. I'll bet he won't do that again without letting someone know! Once my boys were little and at a skating rink after school with there friends. There mother was suppose to bring mine home. They didn't come in and didn't come in. I called her, she said oh I picked mine up long time ago, yours said you were going to pick them up! Oh my gosh, it's dark out and the rink is about a mile away. I jumped in my car and went looking. I was crying and praying, the rink was dark. Mean while the boys had walked home, there dad told them they were going to get it by me, be prepared. When I came in, I walked back in the bedroom and there they both were all big eyed looking at me, I ran over and hugged and kissed them. There dad said No you were suppose to spank them! Ya right. They were safe, most important.
