A Tipton soldier killed Thursday during a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, was a quiet boy who thought the military would help him grow into a man, his family said Friday.
Spc. Jason Dean Hunt, 22, was one of 13 people killed when a gunman opened fire at a soldier readiness center on the post. The gunman, identified by authorities as Maj. Nadil Malik Hasan, 39, was shot four times by a civilian police officer but survived.
Hunt was a 2005 graduate of Tipton High School. Tipton is near Altus in southwest Oklahoma.
Known as J.D., Hunt was voted "most quiet" in his senior class. His grandmother, Kay Smith of Frederick, said J.D. even dressed so he would blend in at school.

My prayers go out to the family of Jason. May God comfort you in your sorrow over this senseless death!
Again I have to say that the media should get it's facts straight before reporting that no one from Oklahoma was hurt or killed. How awful to find out that 1 from Oklahoma was killed after all. the MEDIA jumps on everything they hear without waiting for confirmation! In the case of a death....the MEDIA should wait for absolute official confirmation before saying anything that would cause pain for a family.
Thats like saying oops! Sorry!
I think anything the MEDIA says should be taken with a wait & see attitude because they are not to be trusted.

What America has to do is put radical, fanatic Muslims, into some kind of interment camp, we can No longer allow these religious fanatics to roam around loose, Just like we did with the Japs after pearl harbor, to Protect America we are at War with Muslim states, and US, soldiers are being killed right here on American soil.
